New to the group...

Hey everyone...I'm new to the group and wanted to say hello...I will download a picture of my babies, I think I have to make it a smaller size. I have a ****zu/poodle named Wilson, he's 3, and also a Quaker Parrot named Ricky, he's 2. They get along very well so we are happy about that! I am an animal lover and since Wilson is my first dog, my husband and I are just crazy about him! He is so cute and smart and just loves being with us! We take him everywhere! He's even a Pet Therapy dog...I treat Wilson like a child just because I don't have one, and after having him, I don't think I want a kid! I have questions to ask so I will post on the specific forums! Looking forward to learning new things! We are members of a Quaker forum as well because we always need help and advice with that little monster!
Have a good day!

Hi, Wilson812! Welcome to the board!

Can't wait for the pictures.

Do Ricky and Wilson play together? We used to have a budgie that would try to pull out hair from the dogs' tails while they were sleeping, but otherwise they pretty much ignored each other.

Thanks for your kind responses! Well, I wouldn't say Wilson and Ricky play together, but they will hang out on the bed or floor. At first Wilson was amazed with Ricky, but now he's used to him. Sometimes Ricky gets on his back or tries to pick at his hair. They are cute together, but you know Quakers are quick to bite if they don't like something, so we keep a close eye on them both!

Picture of the kids!

Testing to see if this cute picture of Wilson and Ricky shows up...Ricky doesn't really talk. He will say bye bye and peekaboo, but he mostly bables and screams! We got the one Quaker that doesn't talk!

What is man without beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected.
