looking to adopt St. Bernard

If anyone can help! Im looking to adopt a St.Bernard as a gift for my wife. We currently own a rescued ShortHaired pointer so adoptee must get along with other dogs, also we have 7 children age ranges 3 to 16

Well the entire family, including all kids, the other dog, your wife and yourself should meet the dog.

Do a net search because there are rescue groups for this breed.

Thanks Luba! we have checked out a few rescues online the one closest to us would be Trinity of Hope all others that i have checked out are either out of province or USA. We are located in Brampton, Ontario Canada. If you know of any other URL (websites) that are located in the Ontario Region could you please forward them

I know where you can look

Most vet offices, pet shops and animal shelters have a paper called DOGS DOGS DOGS go get one...they r loaded with rescue groups!! You're bound to find one in there

There is a St Bernard rescue in Shakespeare Ont...But I am not sure where that is.I do have the info but not sure if I can post it here.
