Exclamation 3 wk kitten, infected eyes

my 3 week old kitten(himalyan), hasn't opened eyes as the rest of litter has. But her eyes have swollen right up and when I wiped with warm wet cloth, a lot of puss came out. Swelling returns after a while and we repeat procedure. Help, any suggestions?? Can't even see eyeballs. I am on a very limited financial situation and cant afford a vet. thanks

Has the kitten been moved around a lot? Is it the runt?

Our kitten had similar problems when we first got him, however, he was about a month and a half.

Sometimes, cats can get eye infections JUST from stress. Sometimes it goes away on it's own.. but ours didn't. We took him to the vet and the vet gave us some cream, cleared it up in a matter of days.

I would suggest going to the vet for your little guy, especially because he/she is so young.

Althought I do know how patheticly expensive the vet is these days...

They charge you 75-90 bucks JUST to acknowledge the existance of you cat!

You're breeding cats and can't afford a vet?

This kitten needs drops for it's eyes. You have to get them at the vet. There is no other answer.

You can get eye medican from Jeffer's pet.com
If the kitten needs attention now, please go to the vet, if its not to bad yet, then order the meds on this magizine and they will have it at your house in 2 days. Thats if you use the charge card. I use them all the time and save alot of hours at the vet. Not to mention money. Better to spend that money on goodies for the animals. I would pick up some eye medican if your planning to keep the kitten, it would come in handy. I use Terramycin for my dogs eyes when they get yecky.

It's been a bad day for cats It seems to be something like:A cat to the vet???You got to be kidding,it's only a cat!!!
If you are breeding Himalayans or anything else, you should have a regular vet.
This poor little soul is only 3 weeks and has something that could be easily cured,by a vet!!!
