Dog toy warning
If you own a dog toy that has two tennis balls, connected by a rubber bone in the center, test the color fastness out first before giving it to your dog. I gave my sons dog a toy called Tennis Bonz, after he chewed it in half, I took it away from him and let him have just the tennis ball part. Half an hour later I looked down on the CARPETED floor, and the dye from the ball had rubbed off on the carpet, and would not come off. I called cleaners, and they said I was out of luck. I wish I could remember where I bought the toy from (probably a house sale) so I could call the company and complain. My son now has 2 year old beige and RED carpeting.

big disappointment for the carpet! If you can find the same type of carpeting you might have success getting a path replaced. We had a patch replaced after a hole got burnt and it surprisingly was invisible.

It would be tough to patch because it is in probably eight different spots over the entire room. They were thinking of getting laminet flooring next year, now I guess they are doing more than thinking about it.
