We adopted a new dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am beyond thrilled to introduce our new girl Olive. We picked her up today. She is a beautiful 10 year young brindle (and grey ) boxer lady.
Long story short; She was found as a stray by the SPCA Ste Agathe during the summer and I was contacted to help place her. I fell in love with her but Uncle Monty was sick at the time and he really didn't like other dogs so there was no way we could adopt her ourselves. So we posted her for adoption. I was happy when her wonderful foster mom/volunteer with the SPCA Ste Agathe, decided to keep her. Recently and unfortunately, Olive new mom found herself in a situation where she has to move and cannot keep all of her many dogs. As fate would have it, we are ready to have a new oldie around and Olive is exactly what we've been waiting for. So here she is! More photos will follow, we are waiting for our new camera.

She's sleeping beside me on the couch right now She was so good when she met Vegas-totally ignored his obnoxious behaviour. Oh did I mention she looks exactly like an old mini version of Vegas??? It's so cute. I can't wait to go to Bark n Fitz and buy her an overpriced collar tommorrow! And a sweater, she needs some insolation in the weather.

I have gotten to know an 11yr old Sheltie(Trixie) my son adopted quiet by accident and she's a wonderful doggie,a little old lady.

Thanks guys! On Saturday we went to Bark n Fitz and got her a new pink polar fleece coat, pink plaid collar and matching leash! She looks so cute. She even wears her fleece in the house. It keeps her old, arthritic bones warm. My mom was with us and bought her new granddaughter a fancy leather collar with a pink rhinestone paw print charm on it! It'll be her going out collar, lol. I can't wait to get some pics to post!!!

I just did! She's doing really well. Settling in more and more everyday. You can see she's coming out of her shell, she's happier and playing with her toys these days. The poor girl has a bit of pneumonia though, so she's on antibiotics Yuck. She is getting extra spoiled now though.
