Orphaned kittens

We found 2 kittens yesterday that are maybe a week old. We've been feeding KMR every 4-6 hours, after an initial feeding of cow's milk (giving about 2 tsp each feeding), but we are still seeing no BM. We have been stroking abdomen and rectum area after each feeding with warm, wet cloth. Any suggestions?

Thanks for helping these little guys! Is there rescue organization in your area that can foster them or find a nursing mom to pair them up with? Alley Cat Allies has some good info on caring for neonatal kittens, if you haven't seen it already: http://www.alleycat.org/page.aspx?pid=291

Good luck!

Red face Orphaned kittens

The kittens are doing well! One even pooped! I used a Q-tip with a tiny bit of Vaseline to massage her bottom and out it came! still working on her brother. Both are eating well. I checked out the site you gave me, it was extremely helpful, thankyou! We definitely want to keep these two, they are sooooo precious!
