Bladder Cancer Advice Please!!
My 11 year old male dog was just diagnosed with bladder cancer and I'm really not knowing what to do or where to turn. My vet is feeling pretty confident but as of now we really don't know how he will respond to the medication she is prescribing (Piroxicam). He will start it today. He has no symptoms other than blood in his urine and some incontinence. We initially took him to the vet due to these symptoms; however, he has been behaving completely normal. Until the results came back she has treated him with Clamavox for a possible UTI. The incontinence and blood has slowed down a lot with the antibiotics. Wondering if anyone has any advice on vitamins/food/herbs that I could start him on? I have a bladder strength pills with corn silk, etc. that I might start him on as well. I will try anything at this point! I am so stressed and upset over this. Any helpful words would do me wonders! Positive thoughts only please!

Sorry to hear about your boy. We don't have any experience with bladder cancer in our dogs, but I did find this on the vetinfo site: https://www.vetinfo.com/alternative-...-for-dogs.html Wishing you and your boy all the best!
