Puppy Problems With The Outdoors
Hello there, I need help with my puppy. He refuses to go outside. I'm just starting the training process, he goes on paper fairly regularly inside - but I would like to start taking him outside before and after I go to work. He's a pug and I don't want him to freeze his tail off. Any clues?

Many small breed puppies do not want to go outside in the winter.
Do you have a warm coat and boots for him? These are a must! Try taking one of the papers he used outside with you. Carry him to the spot, put the paper down and put him on the paper. Praise him profusely for using it, then pick him up and rush him back inside. |

Thanks
Dear Lucky Rescue,
I'm new at this and never used these forums before. I submitted a new thread that should have actually been a reply. I have been reading your postings and Lubas. My boss told me that if I wanted I could bring my little bundle here for the work day. I can't get a sitter but this way I can crate train at home and at work. I tried the paper and I think I just need more patience. You guys are awesome, thanks for the advice. Your past postings gave me a lot of info I did not know about. Tallo will appreciate it!!! |
