Talking Funny Little Girl!

Hubby came home tonight kinda late. Phoebe was already asleep in her crate, and I was trying to get the 5yr old to bed before he woke the baby. Hubby decided he needed to say "Hi" to Phoebe, so he - get this - lets her out of her crate. Bad Hubby! So, now it's me, Hubby, the 5yr old and Phoebe having a little pyjama party on my bed.

After some frolicking, Phoebe decides she's tired. So, she does the typical "spin 3 times before lying down". Except that she doesn't lie down. Instead, she buries her head in Hubby's chest and does a somersault! It was the funniest thing I had ever seen! We laughed ourselves silly!

Oh, and here I am now, some 2 hours later. Hubby, Phoebe and the 5yr old are sound asleep, and I'm here with - yup, you guessed it - a wide-awake 10mth old baby! Oh, well. Sleep is highly overrated, isn't it??

Sleep? Sleep is for the weak!

Actually, we were laughing so hard at the somersault that it woke the baby up . So, being the Mom, I get to stay up and try to get baby back to sleep. That's ok, though. It's my job!
