Blue Naturally Fresh Cat Litter

Hi,

Does anyone know if this litter is available in Canada? It is made by Blue Buffalo and is made from 100% walnut shells. I believe I read somewhere that Blue Buffalo bought out a company and took over this litter line.

I have been researching a different litter choice. Right now I am using Feline Fresh clumping pine and the amount of dust coming off this stuff is atrocious! Can't be good for us or the cats!

I have used Max Scoop clay before but would like to stay away from clay if possible.

Thank you.

I think I'm going to try it, I'm done with the Pine, it's very messy.

Oh that sounds like a great option! Thanks for the tip, I just might have to try this. They also make it in pellet form, which my cats prefer.

Just as an FYI - Feline Fresh clumping pine had an issue recently with a new facility making their litter. They have since rectified it and the new bags of litter are back to what they used to be. If you contact the company (through their web site) and voice your concerns re: dust they will replace the litter. I also appreciate their frequent buyer program. Here is their website. I put you on the page to contact them ...........

Personally I will not be using any litter made of walnut or any other shells. It would kill my daughter when she comes for visits. Severe tree nut allergies. Please be aware of that if anyone who visits your home shares those allergies.

Thansk 14+ for that information regarding the Feline Pine, I will keep it in mind if I decide to keep using it. I really did like it when I first started using it.

Also thanks for the heads up regarding the potential allergic reaction to the walnut shells, I will definetly make sure that I know if anyone visiting has an allergy, especially my pet sitter!

I checked with our local Global Pet store and she can get this litter so I think I am going to order a bag to try out.

They also told me about a litter called Odour Buster that they are carrying. She gave me a bag to try out if I want to as well. It is clumping clay but they said it has no dust at all, they use it for their store kitty's litter box and said it works very well.

It is made by a company called Eco-Solutions, I tried looking it up online, but their website is under construction.

Has anyone heard of this litter or tried it?
