Hi all :)
Hi from Colorado. Newbie to the site. I am a little worried, about Sammy our cat, well actually our daughters cat that we have been babysitting for 4 months. Our daughter (pregnent at the time dropped off Sammy and asked us to watch her for a week, maybe two, she has never come to pick up. So 4 months later, we are kinda attached now to this little cat. I think she is about 6 or 7 months. Here is the thing, Sammy got outside last month and was gone for 2 1/2 days, I was worried sick about her and thought for sure she was gone. She came home and now her tummy is getting bigger. No I am not the smartest person when it comes to cats, but how can I for sure tell if she is pregnent? If so, what the heck do I do? HELP!!!!

welcome to the forum to you and sammy..The only real way to know if she is preggers is to take her to the vet. Unfortunatley if she is, she's too far along to spay and abort. I would take her to the vets no matter what..

Please take her to the vet asap. At 6 or 7 months she is far too young to have a litter. She is still a baby herself.
What was the date last month that she got out? I don't believe she is too far along. Especially if it was mid month or later. The vet will be able to tell how far along she is and between you and he/she a decision can be made. Hopefully for Sammy's sake the decision will be to abort and spay. She is just too young to have a litter. Please let us know.
