Vaccines

What are the typical vaccines my dogs should have other than thier rabbies vaccine.My reasons for this question my vet offers a whole slew of shots and would like to know what is basicaly needed without having to spen a small fortune if it's not needed

My answer will be different from most deerclan

NONE I don't vaccinate Sadie only Rabies every 3 yrs.

I also only vaccinate for Rabies, and only every three years.

I got all Chloe's vaccines done when I got her, 3 1/2 years ago, including lepto booster.

Now she will get only rabies vax every 3 years, as dictated by law.

I get the distemper cocktail every 2 years and rabies every 3. They get Lepto every year and don't get any others at all.

Hi Jeff

And Prin did you know the lepto vaccine doesn't cover all strains of the lepto virus and the strains it does cover are often NOT the virus your dog can get sick with.

Just a little hint hint
