Dog w/ something like a cold

My Min Pin is presenting with cold-like symptoms. She goes into sneezing fits and what my roommate calls "backward sneezes". She is sleeping more and seems uncomfortable. My question is whether she definately needs medical attention or if this is one of those passing illnesses like and adult cold. I hate to take her to the vet for every little thing (it does get expensive) but I want to take her if she needs to go. Please let me know if you need more information.

If it's a puppy then take her to the vet. I wish I had taken my little pup to the vet immediately when he first showed symptoms. I waited 3 days, and now he's still isn't fully recovered a month later. Much like human babies, what's not that serious for adults can be very serious for puppies.
