anyone know what this is?

Sorry if you're grossed out easily, but I just noticed this weird bump under one of Kayla's arms. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with something like this and knows what it could be?

Looks like the harness has pinched her . I'd lay off using it... the harness causes pressure under the arms of the dog, that's how it is effective. I think you should find a reputable trainer and get her working on a prong collar...they are more humane then a choke or a harness IMHO

Could she have had a tick under her arm? The reason I ask is my daughter had a tick on her shoulder once and her grandma thought it was a scab and put a bandaid on it. When I took it off and saw it was a tick she had a bump just like that where it was. Just a thought.

someone else suggested a tick to me too. how would i be able to tell if it was a tick? i can't see any little legs or anything. also i don't really take her anywhere other than a wide open park, could she get a tick there? i did take her to a foresty place in the middle of february though, could she have had it since then? i'm not sure if i should bother taking her to the vet or not. is it possible it is just an extra nipple in a weird place or a mole or something? i just don't know whether to be worried or not!

My monitor here at home isn't great for pics but from what I can see it looks like a pimple OR a bug bite of some kind. My boy gets occasional spots(not sure what they are) that are pink with a darker spot in the middle. They disappear within a couple of days. Are ticks around at this time of year??
