The Tudors?

Anyone else watching?

Nothing more fun than watching Henry the eighth behead anyone who stands in his way. Not really but I can't stop watching. I'm feeling sorry for Anne Bolyen right now, even though they are portraying her in such a bad light. Also because we all know how it ends.

How he treated Catherine of Aragon is just awful.

I have season 1 on DVD. I enjoyed it but not as much as "The Other Boleyn Girl" (book) If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it... a really good read!!

Poor Queen Anne. What a Henry is, it's clearly a problem with his swimmers but of course no-one knew that then. Couldn't blame the king regardless, had to be his 'witch' wife.

I've been wanting to see the show, but haven't had a chance yet. Maybe one day I'll rent the first few episodes from Blockbuster... I just wish you could rent the whole season at once!

Spatx, I rented the first season on a DVD at a time with two or three episodes per disk from Movie Gallery. I rent most DVDs though at zip.ca if I can't get them from Movie Gallery (our only rental place in town). Like The Wire, Arrested Development, etc.

Here's the link at Zip:
http://www.zip.ca/Browse/Title.aspx?f=clid(106764) for the first season and here's the second season which is on tv right now.
http://www.zip.ca/Browse/Title.aspx?f=clid(107721)

I'm not sure if you need to be logged in at Zip to see these urls though. I really like zip.ca, there are a lot of older and foreign movies (I adore Chinese, older Japanese and Korean movies) and it's pretty affordable.

Also, at www.cbc.ca you can watch full episodes the day after they air, Wednesday. http://www.cbc.ca/tudors/
