My fur butts dreaming of sugar plums LOL

Hi

I have put up the Christmas tree this year. I wasn't going to, but I had a brave....or stupid moment...it depends on your point of view.

Anyways, it's up, and still standing!! *touch wood* Willie knew what it was and just walked up to it and laid under it. Mirabelle, carefully walked up and around it sniffing, Darby could care less, and O'Shawnnessey the normally brave one was very nervous of it.

Mirabelle, took to whacking it with her paw, but stops when I tell her no, Willie and OS like to rub up against the branches, and Darby, her usual nothing.

I took some pics of OS and Willie under the tree, their normal laying spots. The girls usually are curled up on the coach. Please excuse the mess as I still hadn't tidied up.

Debbie

Here are a few more. You can see the cats white and red Christmas collars. The girls have snowmen bells on theirs and the boys have Santa bells on theirs.

The white ball thingy hanging from Willie's collar is the Santa bell, it's laying backwards though so u can't see his face. *S*

Thanks for looking

Debbie

The kitties look so comfy snuggling under the tree Thanks to those collars, they're as festive as the rest of the room!

And there's Tegan...just another kitty, sharing a bed...

Too cute, TQ!!!

thanks hazel and rainbow. Poor Tegan needs a festive collar too, but I haven't found her one yet. She does have a santa hat though, which reminds me I have to sew on the elastic band to go under her chin!

I love big fluffy orange cats
The others are beautiful too.

Why do dogs always look vaguely uncomfortable when cats decide to lay with them?

too sleepy to cause mayhem your kitties are so cute!

I too was brave/stupid enought to put up a tree this year. with 2 ne kitties I was sure we where going to have issues. When the tree first went up, I could not keep the little sweeties out of it but now that it is decorated, they leave it alone
And I went and only used unbreakable wood and plastic decorations so they couldn't hurt it lol guess I didn't have to worry

Well, I thought they were being good. Yes, it was an apple decoration I found on the floor without the ribbon that I tied it to the tree with....hmmm maybe it was just a spare one that didn't fit on the tree?

Today when I came back from Walmart found another decortion,,,this time up against O'Shawnnessey....one of the ones from the top part of the tree....hhhhmmm... O'Shawnnessey wasn't looking guilty when I asked him if he took that off the tree.....I think a pattern is starting to show here.

So Melei'sMom, be warned...yours might just be forming a plan of attack......

Debbie

14+ yep the tree is tied to both walls.. See those red bows on the walls? that is to try and fancy up the place they are tied with fishing line. You can see the second red bow sticking out a tiny bit in the second pic to the left of the grandfather clock. I also use thin Christmas ribbon to tie the ornaments to the branches so they don't fall off as easily. And I spray the bottom branches with that bitter apple stuff,,but I think they like it.

I'm in the same boat TQ. I was debating whether or not to bring out all my Santa's this year with Mollie and, I talked myself into it.

I think Rainbow left a huge opening in her thread so you could show us all a picture of Tegan being tortured with her Santa hat!

Great picture thread TQ--they all look so comfy and cozy!

Because they know their owners will put the pictures on the web and their doggy friends will see them sharing the bed with the cat and they'll never hear the end of it

Now, that I have all my Christmas cards done, I'm going to start sewing that elastic band onto the santa hat for Tegan.
