The Other Cuz

Has anyone bought the "Other Cuz" yet? It has little stumps for feet and I was wondering if they are better than the feet on the original cuz?

YES. A few months ago I posted about this very subject - and the fact that on another board people were all excited because they wouldn't have to amputate the feet. There were no responses - not surprising since I posted the review - but yes, I would buy them. They sold like hotcakes where I buy them. We have 3 of them and they are still intact. Pups love to focus on the feet so with the stubs they can sort of gnaw on them without the deadly results. So far, so good. My Eskie with the teeth fo death has decided to not kill them. Not a chance I would buy the one with the big feet.

But it's kind of fun to guess how long it will take before the amputation

The other cuz looks cool , of course, they don't sell those in my area so it could take a while before I get one.

Frenchy, the Other Cuz is made by the same company as the original so the pet store should be able to order them for you with no problem. And, they "grunt" instead of "squeak" too.

So, would you give them a 5/5 rating?

We have the green large Other Cuz, the feet are a great improvment, but the tiny horns can be chewed off, Voo took about 5 minutes to chew one, the piece that comes off is so tiny I wouldnt worry too much about it. Dazy is scared of her Other Cuz, it lets air out when it squeeks and she gets so upset she shows her teeth and growls and snarls and runs...

She doesn't play with her other cuz either.

I can't rate it cuz Dazy won't chew it, but from an owner stand point it's less of a worry.

Well, I didn't see the "other cuz" (or maybe I did but since I hadn't read about it before I might not have noticed it)....but I did buy Buster a Bad Cuz. I was hesitant about spending the money because I haven't found anything that he can't destroy in the first hour but.....WE HAVE SUCCESS!!!

Ok, so I had to amputate the legs but so far, it is still intact and the squeaker hasn't been removed. Keep in mind that Buster weighs only about 16 lbs, so he doesn't have the strength of some of the bigger dogs to destroy toys. I took some pictures because I was soooo sure he would destroy it so.....

btw....the other toy that I bought him (in the picture) hasn't been opened yet. I was waiting to see if Cuz survived!

1st picture - 4:30 Friday
2nd picture - 5:00 Friday
3rd picture - 6:00 Saturday

Over 24 hours and Cuz isn't in the garbage!!!!

Buster's Cuz looks the same as the original one at our house. The Other Cuz still has his stumps 30 hours later. If it lasts a week I will give it a 5 rating.

Is the Quirkies toy made by the same company as the Cuz? You will have to start a new thread on it and update us later.

The Quirkies is made by Booda...MADE IN CHINA! should I be concerned? I think I might do a bit of research before I give it to Buster.
