This is the first time the dogs have been wayyy bigger than both of them. Usually Jemma and Boo put the newbie in its place and move on... Not happening this time.. The two biggies are undoubtedly the king and queen of this doggy pack...

Yeah. At least the newfs aren't looking for them or anything... It's pretty peaceful...

My man got ambushed earlier...

And here's incognito man with Boo and Pablo...

Yeah it is going to take some time. They should work it out after a while, they all have to get a feel for each other. When the Newfs settle in and relax more after all the excitement, Jemma and Boo may feel more relaxed as well

EEK!!!!!! Poor things are all nakie now! Prin, can you check Leila for a Tatoo please. It would either be faded in her ear or on her inside thigh or just above by the tummy. Got a call from the Breed Club today and they recognize Leila's look so want to make sure it's not a dog from a particuliar breeder. The breeder is overseas presently so they want to be able to notify her of the dogs whereabouts if it's one of hers. More for tracking purposes and followup than anything else. From the looks of things, Leila had pups huh... I think I placed one or two of her last two litters.. two landseers.. sigh

IM me the tattie numbers if you can read them. If Pablo has a tatoo then I think I know where he comes from which explains why he's such a nice specimen of the breed. Pity followup is not always so good but people talk a good talk.

OMG!!! What BEAUTIFUL drool, smooshie faces!!
They look so happy all cleaned up.

Poor Jemma and Boo:sad: I'm sure once they figure out they are only "guests" they'll be fine. And with those mugs I don't think you'll have them very long

Wow Prin, they're finally here! I was thinking about them all day at work, then I went out to dinner with the inlaws, so I had to wait until now to see the pics. They look so good. They probably feel so good without all that matted fur. Are they soft, cause they look soft.

They're pretty soft... Their coats are a little dry, so once we fix that, they should be softer. So... I'm sorry, did you say something?

They look so good all shaved and clean.
Leila definitley lived somewhere where she was allowed on the couch, she's way to good at snuggling that pillow to be new at it!
Hope your enjoying every minute of it!

They look beautiful, Prin! What a difference this makeover,
all fresh and happy. They must feel so great.. maybe a bit chilly?

The massive size.. the heads.. a whole lotta dog is right!
If your Boo looks small next to these gentle giants.. I'm picturing my Percy..

You and your man are both s for fostering these sweethearts

Thanks.

They're actually really hot generally. Leila wakes up every now and then for a long pant fest... It's hard because you really can't stop petting them once you start... They just keep asking for more. It's kind of heartbreaking. But at the same time, I have all the time in the world to pet them. (Except for the sleep I so so so need right now...)

I just look at Leila now enjoying the pets, and I remember her less than a week ago, so matted that you couldn't even get to her skin. I can't even imagine how they feel and what they felt. All I know is they haven't scratched anything yet. I mean, Jemma and Boo scratch fairly often, but these two- never. They must feel so good and unitchy...

Jemma's asleep with her daddy on the sofa as usual... Leila's on Boo's sofa... Pablo is on the floor beside me... And Boo's crammed under the diningroom table kind of sulking.

Aww, poor Boo - too much excitement I guess! Needs some extra TLC from mommy! The Newfies are cute!! (as Newfies usually are!) You'll have to learn to speak and and understand the language of the Rock Prin, <g>

Their faces look a but like black labs - at that age. I never noticed that in full grown Newfies tho. Fortunately, my friend that had three had a HUGE house - and still, they were kept busy with the vacuum!! (as you can imagine!). They are beautiful dogs!! I have a large house but even I am not sure I have enough room - tho I did entertain my brother, 2 kids and one choc lab and one lassa apso last w/e- you can imagine Siamese if you please, Sphynx who love to climb, a choc lab who needs to be next to someone all the time., an 18 month old trailing the lab (She ran into him at one point, walking, and she petted him and gave him a kiss as if to say "I'm sorry", lol) and one with lassatude - actually not that much to, she seems to be a great dog!! But likes to be in a lap.

Anyway - good luck with the Newfies!!!! I hope they both get the good wonderful forever homes they deserve!

They are beautiful Prin, you are an angel for fostering them. But 2 times the drool, oh, who am I kidding I would have another in a minute if I could. Get Mr Clean erasers it takes the slingers off the walls when they dry not the paint. I especially like when Bud finishes drinking and wipes his face on my leg or sleeve. You will never be clean again. Have fun and I hope all the kids adapt to each other well. Good luck

Wow, what a difference. They are looking great already and I'm sure they do even better with all your fabulous care . Give them a scratch and snuggle for me and of course extra hugs and snuggles for Boo and Jemma .
