A few scenes of Alberta
On The Cowboy Trail, near Longview, prairie, oil and mountains come together.
Forest fires in BC and Montana have been painting our skies red, leading to some fiery sunsets over bales of hay. It was the second hottest July on record in our area. Deer graze on a hillside at sunset . . . . this scene plays out every evening next to our home. Rick C www.goldentales.ca |

Wow nice scenes of Alberta Rick!
I LOVE the 3rd shot. It's very graphic, has nice composition and a nice curve. Marko

Those are just a pleasure to look at. I also love the fowl pics.
The floor in front of the scarecrows looks as if it is covered completely with shavings, do they have the entire barn floors covered like that? Last edited by Lukka'sma; August 20th, 2007 at 03:30 PM. Reason: aw geeez, I should proof read these |

A few more.
Below, west of Turner Valley, Alberta, in the blue rock area, some picnickers gather to view fall colours. This Big Horn Sheep in the same area seemed to be enjoying the view as well. In a forgotten canyon at Chain Lakes, poplars change colour while snow gathers in the shadows Below, mist rises from Elbow Lake in the Elbow Pass area of Kananaskis Country. First snow. From late September, frost bitten fruit Below, cruising to work in the early morning fog, I shot this through the side window of the car at 120 kmh . . . . and it appeared to work.
