Jungle Setup for Reptile
I am getting a new reptile today and set up its vivarium last night; I gave it a jungle theme. I’ve been collecting all the setup elements for about a month now and couldn’t wait to assemble all of it; my roommate and I assembled the top lid yesterday and I took a walk to collect some branches. Altogether, it was a fun experience. I’m going to go get the new family member this morning, meaning that I’ll have new pictures later today of the tank and it’s new occupant!

Meet Curtis, our newest member of the family; it’s a male standing day gecko. I was told he’s been at the pet store where I work for at least a year and my co-worker Joel was quite sad to see him leave since he’s been seeing him every day for months; I’ve only been working there two months but grew very attached to this little speedster. I took him home this morning and he seems to like his new house; he was nervous after an escape attempt (this little guy is pretty swift), but he’s tensed down now and is doing alright.
