Dog Shot in VT, Couple Trying to Get Legal Action
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,235240,00.html
This is an interesting story... Sad, but it may bring about some change to the laws here in the US. If nothing else, maybe it will bring about awareness of the plight of animal cruelty.

There are two sides to every story. Killing a dog with a pellet gun is so unlikely as to be accidental.
People who let their pets roam shouldn't be surprised when they come home (or don't make it home) injured. |

I never let my cats outside in the city, but when I lived on Vancouver Island in the a small town, my cats were outside during the day and they were always very happy. I have never lost a cat, not even to a cougar. But in Montreal i'm afraid of neighbours and cars so I keep them inside. I must say they are healthy, but they are no longer have that happy attitude they once had. I know that they would rather be outside. i guess I'm selfish by keeping them in. |

You are not selfish. You are responsible .
