Ontario Doggy Playdate.. Aug. 14th 2009
Hello everyone!
I am not sure if this is allowed on the forum but I couldn't find anything saying it wasn't so I apologize if it is against the rules. This Friday (August 14th, 2009) there will be a doggy playdate set up for dog owners and lovers in the area. We are considering two places (depends on where everyone is located): The Pinery in Grand Bend, Ontario http://www.pinerypark.on.ca/ *Great off-leash dog beach and tonnes of leashed hiking trails. *Store and resturant for us human folk. OR Bronte Creek Provincial Park on the boarder of Oakville and Burlington, Ontario http://www.ontarioparks.com/English/bron.html *Has 2 off-leash areas *River to swim in *Feilds to run around in If anyone is interested in joining us (please do, it should be a blast) please let me know where you would like to go. The date is set for the 14th but the place is still open for discussion. It would be a great opportunity for friendly, vaccinated dogs and owners to get together for one last romp in the Lake before the "white stuff" comes! |

It's only August, you must be hoping for an early winter! Can't say I blame you as I'm itching to get back on the sled runners, but I have a feeling I'll have to wait a while for that and the dogs will still have lots of time yet for swimming. Hope you have a good turnout and have fun

Well, I do like the cold, but not that much.. Haha..
Last year we had snow the end of September! This year we have been wearing jackets in July and August, so I expect the snow will be falling sooner than later this year.. |
