$10 wash/dry for Fido

(SPA Animal in DDO) Has anyone here from Montreal used this service? Last year I went to a groomer in LaSalle where they wanted to put mine in a dryer, I didn't allow but it's said here it takes a little getting use and don't mind http://www.montrealgazette.com/life/...005/story.html

I watched it on tv and it scared the crap out of the dogs and wasn't recommended.

I think I'd like to see how it works on a Human first.
Anyone got a speedo and a bathing cap?

As a retired dog groomer, I would NOT purchase one of those for my shop.

1. no hands handling, partly good, mostly not.
2. keep soap, etc, from the eyes and nose.
3. dog could panic
4. a first time groomed puppy would just freak out, and
5. This wouldn't be a positive experience for the dog.

My thoughts on this

gotta say i'm with binky, being groomed is not always a pleasant experience for puppers, don't see being thrown in a washing machine being anymore pleasant.

Marko i'll buy you the speedo and cap if you'll go first.

Me too

I agree with everyone's comments. Most dogs hate baths so the human touch is essential in calming them.
ps I wouldn't ever print that Joe Rosen of JR's is a good client of theirs

Oh boy.. I saw this machine on some website about a year ago. It showed how terrifying it was to the dogs.

I'm not willing to stick any animal in a giant washing machine. Scary!

Pet washing machines are animal cruelty, plain and simple. Just hire a dog bather if you don't want to do the bathing.
