May 2008 Challenge - Pets and Green (Flowers, grass, plants or anything that's green)

What does anyone have planed for the "May challenge"?? concidering it is only 1 1/2 days away.. we better put on our thinking caps and come up with one..

any ideas??

Breeze, I was just going to post asking the same thing.

My mind is a blank right now for ideas though.

what can I say 2 great minds think alike
fools never differ

what have we not done??

something doable for the kitties I can never find very appropriate pics for the themes ...or maybe im just lazy

Maybe Otter/hazel's idea a while back for a "squish convention"

Quote:
Hazel: They could have a Squish Convention! Everyone squish in here, please, and we'll get this convention started!

onster: hmmmmmmmmm that could be a monthly photo contest theme sometime

Otter: Very good idea! Misery and Bunduk would have staring roles

FLOWERS!! pets and flowers???

-ashley

Ck also mentioned flowers in the TJT. "april showers, may flowers"

I already have pics of kitties eating flowers

Flowers sound good to me, cats & dogs & other furries/feathered can do that

I can do 'mud', 'squishies', or 'flowers'...

I'd like to choose something today if possible but what about Green.
(That might give the cat people more leeway and green of course includes grass and plants etc)

So it could be anything green related - just a thought though.

Thx

Don't think that would work in our backyard .

Maybe I can find a patch of weeds somewhere .

Green, flowers, gardens...all sounds good to me . It'll definitely be a challenge for me.

HAHA!! 'green' as in green grass or 'green' as in recycled cardboard?? we have tons of both!!!

Onnie uses the recyling bin and his personal kitty fort, does that count?

i dunno about mud hazel, kitties dont like to get their tootsies dirty

Plus id have to bring mud indoors and im not tooo sure how that with fly with the parental unit, lol

So basically it is either flowers or "Green".... (there, there squish convention, one day u will have ure turn )

Ok everybody - The pre-challenge posts are merged and the challenge is on.

I sort of merged the green ideas together just to keep the theme as wide as possible...

...... and I already know what I'm doing with Ziglet

Poor poor ....he's so not going to be happy.

But hey, he does get free food and rent, .....time to pay.

Who is posting first...ready set ...Go!

Below, Polly in the grass. This photo was a finalist in the recent Canadian Living Magazine Pet Photo contest!!

Below, one of my favourite shots, sitting in the field with Keeper, watching a hot day on the prairie pass us by:

Below, Abby and Polly, standing on guard for thee, at sunset.

Below, a ghostly Keeper, on the prairie at her Alberta home

Below, Abby has her eye on a bee:

I got a lot of 'em.

So nice to see green grass. Ours, where we have grass (Attacked by grubs last year) still looks more like hay then grass

This isn't my cat, just a stray we spotted out today.
I think she's quite the beauty (well, I don't know that it's a she).

He will only swim for brocolli - he had just retrieved it from the ocean so it's salted and ready to eat
