Wow, nice flowers... (sorry I am about to threadjack)...Chico loves the garden threads which makes me think...she's been MIA...I hope she's Ok.

A Guerilla Garden is the assumption of public space by the public for the public g d (at least that's my story and I'm stickin' to it). There is a steep embankment across from my house which lays between two roads and has been more than a bit of an eyesore with noxious weeds and scruffy scrub. So I started planting some seeds, some other folks brought along some tubers and bulbs and cuttings and I (and now others cuz suddenly the nabe is interested) chucked them in. When I get a little better with shrinking my 500kb pix down I'll post more of the before and after pix. I've att. one but it got blurry in the downsizing. The funny thing about the Datura is, it's actually a tropical plant and despite the cold weather it's still blooming away like crazy, in fact I saw another new plant coming up today. And I've still got loads of sunflowers (this pic is from mid-June, My monsters are now around 8 feet tall). I think it must be all the toxic soil ~ everything mutating

How cool! I have a moldy thumb--all my plants rot. sigh. I love other people's gardens, though.

Thanks mummummum...great idea. Thanks for explaining...I wasn't which way to take the "guerilla" part...my imagination was going to places that no humans have gone before
