Sick dog

I have a rotty, took him to the vet last week had blood works, he was throwing up and not eating. Showed an infection, have been giving him antibotics and pills for upset stomach. Now he still won't eat and he isn't going poop.

He's eating again now. After the antibotics got out of his system, gave him yogurt to put the good bactieria back in his system. I did call my vet again but he didn't really seem to know what to do or why he still wasn't eating. In fact he made a stupid remark "maybe he's putting himself on a diet" needless to say he won't be seeing my dog any more.

Please take him back to the vet, can be numerous things, but when a dog stops eating there is signs of serious illness.
Good luck with your rotty

Suspect number one is the food he eats. Change it to a raw diet.
Other suspects are some other toxins in his life - medicines, vaccines, household cleaners, garden pesticides. Those are the normal causes of vomiting and diarrhoea. Think back to what you did before he became sick.
