Grrrrrrr

Why do people just not understand when you lose a pet that it is really hard. Someone said to me today after I told them that we had lost one of our kitties, well at least you have others at home to keep you company. Like that will replace my baby. It just angers me when people think that way!

I know that that does not better you feel better when someone said that. I told a woman that my hearing dog dies and she said I would be OK! Some people are just plain clueless. I am really sorry to hear this happen to you.

Patchdog, I agree with you. Just because you have other kitties doesn't mean losing one isn't tragic. I have seven rescues, but one is really, really special to me. He was in such bad shape that the vet couldn't tell me how old he is, so I don't know how long I'll have him for, but I know its going to be really hard when he goes. Take Care.

Sounds like my Echo. We had no clue how old he was when he walked into our garage but he needed a good home because you could see his ribs. We got almost 10 good years with him. It just makes me so angry that people do not care. They are like it is just a pet. NO it is not. That is my fur baby and he will be greatly missed.
