Lonely blue, what to do??

I got my budgie bird, Blue, a while ago from a local petstore(well my brother brang her home)She was not a baby bird or even young but looked mature. Im not a bird specialist or anything so this is my naked eye speaking lol..Anyways a family friend came over and brang their new budgie and put him in Blue's cage. I was angry when I heard this because we did this with my last bird Puddles(gave her a budgie friend a while after she came home..)and poor little Keisha got her leg ripped off.(RIP both of you..)

We ended up not being able to seperate Blue from "Snow" they where cuddling and everything. True love birds. ........Snow died 2 months ago and Blue is now alone.

I've been debating on getting another budgie. Blue looks soo lonely, and she also isn't very tame so it's hard for me to play with her and give her attention.

She is beautiful. I know nada about birds (I like them from a distance... ) but I'm wondering what would happen if you set up two cages side by side and slowly introduced them to one another with supervised out-of-cage visits.

Another bird is an idea. You would have to follow quarentine and with very closely supervised visits there shouldn't be a problem. It might be hard to introduce another baby bird, so I would try to go with an adult.

Another thing that can be done is the mirror. BUT, don't do this if you ever want attention from blue again because chances are she'll be in love with herself and forget you. At least thats what happened with my budgies. Good luck!!
