The Constant Gardener
Did anyone see this? I watched it over the weekend and found it to be very interesting. It really makes you think - about life and of things that we rarely consider. I bet the story is not far from an unfortunate truth about pharmaceutical companies and performing drug testing on people without their knowledge (or consent!).
I also found it interesting the love story part, where in his mind his wife was being adulterous and having a secret love life - when in actuality she was devoted entirely to him. It just goes to show you that things are not always what they seem! Of course, it was a movie! haha A friend of mine said that the movie "sucked." What did you think?

I found this to be a great film, one of the more memorable I've seen recently.
Though fiction, some elements of the story were very thought-provoking. Pharmaceutical companies are a giant business in which we place our trust. For those who've died from taking certain drugs, this proved a fatal mistake. I really liked this movie, interesting characters, well acted, and well done.

You both make me want to see it. With new studies coming out all the time about Evra (the birth control patch), I'm wondering how much they really did before they put it out and if I'm a guinea pig... Maybe this is the movie for me... (I obviously haven't seen it yet)

Definitely worth seeing, the cinematography is great, the story line will not leave you neutral - AND Ralph Fiennes - need I say more?
