Mucus around pee hole (female dog)

I have a 7 month old female, spayed, black lab/pit mix. Is it normal for female dogs to occasionally have a small amount of clear mucus around their pee hole? She doesn't act like it hurts when she pees and she doesn't act sick at all. I have only had male dogs, so this is new to me!

Thanks

A little clear vaginal discharge is normal. If it's green, yellow, thick or foul-smelling that would indicate an infection and a vet visit!

She should be vet checked. Spay, female dogs can get vaginal infections.
