Red face

Wish I could send everyone a box of cookies. Misty gets her share, that's for sure. I keep MilkBone in business.. But, I can't refuse her, and she looks forward to them now.

Can you do Chloe's too? Cutting them traumatizes me.

Chloe? Bite? NO! The problem is ME, not her. I'm so afraid of cutting the quick that nail clipping nearly gives me an ulcer every time I do it. I dread it.

Ah, no! It's easy not to cut the quick. You just have to cut a little, often.

Catsnatcher... uhh.. Max is cute and all, but he doesn't like me already. Hey, he liked Steve at the park, so maybe Steve could do it? It must be hard since he doesn't like strangers. What does he do when you cut them?

Awww...Max doesn't dislike you, Prin. He soo mistunderstood. He's such a big barker that most people get intimidated but he's easily won over. He barks the same way at everyone who walks through my door...it's intimidating at first but when I watch my 3 year old nephew toss him aside to pass through the front door while Max is barking up a storm and I realize it's just Max's way.

I get his nails done at "the daycare" for ten bucks. He tries to nip when they use the filer. My vet once tried cutting them and Max had to be muzzled...he peed on all 4 people at the vet when they tried to hold him down. I thought they were too aggressive with him

When we originally picked him up from the SPCA, it was the same thing, his nails were very long. I assume they also had trouble trimming them.

I'm surprised that he'd have long nails after living on a concrete slab at the SPCA. Whenever we kennel our dogs, they come home with these lovely manicured nails from running back and forth on concrete.

This is Rommel giving off his "feed me" vibe. Subtle, isn't he?

Sam's nails definitely do need to be trimmed. Hubby is going to do it today I think. Sam is actually pretty good about it. He just lies there and watches you closely.

Thanks for the offer Prin.

I love the dish pics...I have one too! I normally use stainless dishes, but Toby got a little ice cream in this one once or twice, then it became his favorite "treat" dish.

Oh your kitty shots are awesome jiorji! SInce you asked, we feed Rommel on a regular basis (2x a day), he's just always game for more. I've never understood how some people are able to free-feed their dogs. Ours would be blimps if we did.
