The back is sooo green, lawn mostly clover though, anyome have a cow to lend me
My 3 Clematises have tonnes of buds(no pic).
We've been working our butts off the past 3 days, opening the pool, put water-proofing on the front porch, changed some boards on the deck, now need staining...(any volonteers sp?)lol
Put together a new bbq+2 Muskoka-chairs with a table in between....phew,a lot of work for 2 oldies.

As beautiful as always chico! My phlox are up and growing hardy too. I know a lot of people call this one a weed but I love it! It starts so much earlier than the cultivated ones.

14+,I love the Phlox,I at first thought it would be the groundcover one,but this is pretty.
I've already had to spray my roses,I think this is going to be a bad bug-year

Aslan,I know you would toddle over any time, but we'll take it esy,a little bit at a time, its a lot of deck to stain, but I've done it many times before.
Thank you,but you can still toddle over,we're here, most of the time

The pool is 60F....burrrrr

Very pretty, chico!

And 14+? A few of my phlox seeds survived, too! There are two plants blooming in the well garden--smaller than chico's but blooming nonetheless!!!

chico2, your garden is a credit to you. I could send some sheep to eat that clover but you'd have to pay freight.

Thank's L4H,it's not very big though,nothing like your property,but it's jam-packed with plants.
I have a lot of trimming to do,but right now it's too hot,,I even went in the pool today,it is a chilly 67F,but it felt good

I love phlox, our field next door is filled with it every year and it looks so pretty, chico your yard is gorgeous, what is that vine around the house and birdbath? we have it wild in the field also (it actually pulled down a tree!!) I wanted to have some up my arbour but I was afraid it would take over the beds, can you tame it???

Melinda,it's a"Virginia creeper" and it really creeps
You can keep it in check,it's hubbys job,it does not invade my gardens.
If I see a little shoot,I just pull it up.
The brick on our house is really ugly,so about 30yrs ago,we got a pot of the VC from a friend and it covers it nicely in the back.

Melinda it's only in the back of the house, nothing in front,it's also covering hubbys pergola.
