Stainless Steel Bowls for Yellow Lab?
I was recently told that to keep my yellow lab puppy's nose black, I should feed her from a stainless steel bowl. I was told that if I didn't do that her nose would eventually turn pink. Just wondering if there is any truth to this?
Thanks, Mel |

It has to do with PLASTIC bowls.
Stay away from plastic bowls. Sometimes cats and dogs noses have bad reactions to the plastic in those bowls and their noses change colour somewhat. Ceramic and stainless steel bowls are best. Ophelia |

Melanie it is true! Ive got a 9 month old chocolate lab and from the books ive read on labs they all say ceramic or stainless steel... so thats what we've got. His nose is fine so far Good luck with the little rascle.. oh and for chewing try the "galeleo bone" from nylabone.. its the only bone my dog hasnt been able to chew threw so far he is still trying though!
