This shelter was started by a group of women that where very concerned about a colony of feral cats living behind a seafood restaurant in my city. So they started a trap , neuter and return program and when I rescues two cats the shelter took both cats to the vet. One cat was attacked by a raccoon or coyote and had half it back bitten off. Amazingly the cat lived and both cats where found new homes. I helped paid for the cat surgery and wish i could had kept him.

What a great story, their part and your part. You must feel rightfully proud that this endeavour took root so well and is growing. Yay for all of you.

I do , I know the woman in the photo and she helped me to rescue that poor cat that attacked by an animal. I saw a photo of cat after he was adopted and you could see where part of his back was missing but he letting his new owner pet him right on his back . I never thought the cat would let anyone touch that spot . I left very honored that cat trusted me enough and came back to me for help .
