Objetive: BEST DOG FOOD

Hello my name is Domingo, I am new in these forums, I am Europpean (Spain).
I have some questions for you:

1) What dog food do you think is the best in Canada ?
2) Do you meet www.dogfoodanalysis.com ?
3) In Spain we think that "Acana" and "Orijen" are one of the best dog-food in the world

Thanks you and forgive me my bad English expressions.

The "best" dog food would probably be what's most natural for them - a raw food diet. As long as you do your research and come up with a meal-plan that ensures they are getting all of the nutrients they require. This forum has some great information on feeding a raw diet and is a good place to start.

If you're looking to stick with a kibble, then Acana and Orijen are both great foods. The key is, to look for a food with human-grade ingredients, and grain free. Dogs are not meant to be able to digest grains, and do much better without them.

I'm glad to hear you think so highly of Acana and Orijen in Spain!

They are two of my favourite brands as well - although I would also add Instinct and Legacy, and would strongly agree with the previous poster re: raw food.

Real food is always the best option, be it raw or cooked, and going commercial is always dependent upon the individual dog. Some dogs do better than others with different formulations. However, overall I've found that Acana grain free has the lowest intolerance rate of all the grain free kibbles.

Welcome to pets.ca aaron7

I also think that Orijen/Acana are the best brands available.

As far as websites I like ....

www.dogfoodproject.com and

www.dogaware.com

Do you have any pics of your dog(s) that you could share with us?
