I know, I felt bad for him, but he smells soooo nice now. Part of the reason for the bath is that both Tim and I have allergies and the allergist suggested that if I won't get rid of the cats and dogs, then to try to bathe them. We just bought an air purifier too and are doing all sorts of things to the furnace, so thought I would try that too!! I WILL NOT get rid of my babies, I will suffer sneezing and sniffles if I have to!!

Also, Tux has bad dandruff - the olive oil on his food is helping but I thought maybe a bath might help too!! I didn't give Spunky a bath, I thought at her age, she might be too traumatized. So Brick and Tux smell purdyyyyy!!!!

Ok Catt,I think Tux will take the odd bath, rather than being dumped
My Chico also has "dandruff",I've heard of adding olive-oil before, how much do you add to the food and how often?

Yeah, even if I was deathly allergic, I wouldn't get rid of them. That isn't even in my book of options!!! Considering how other cat baths have gone, his was quite smooth, no scratching or clawing or biting... just looks of disgust aimed at me!!

I have one of those misters that you get from kitchen stores, and I spray it on their food when I feed them at night, just enough to lightly cover the food. I do the same for Brick!! We go through a LOT of olive oil!! LOL

Did you just give him a bath in the tub or in the sink? He looks so silly!

He wasn't too impressed until I gave him a handful of treats, then all was forgotten and he was my best buddy again!! Amazing what a little snack and some cat nip can do!!!

Princess, I bathed him in the tub with about 2 inches of warm water!!

Aww... My Gracie hates baths too. We have to do hers in the kitchen sink, less room to escape, lol.

This picture's old, but still cute. Heh. After a bath she won't let us near her until she's completely dry.
