I don't know how people can kiss their dogs after that?!
I saw a picture the other day of a dog with a deer head!

exactly..Im sure you have no problem kissing a loved one after eating something, so why would it matter for them? The fact they lick themselves, sniff poo, (some eat poo!) do what dogs do..I wouldn't be worried about it.

and have you ever seen a dog vomit up a pile of half-digested kibble (big brown stinky mess), and then eat it up again? how on earth can that be less disgusting than a dog eating a fresh piece of meat, crunching bones to clean all those teeth, etc? it's fresh natural meat, it's not moldy factory rejects

I let Barkley kiss me as much as he wants after he has eaten a raw meal. I found it more disgusting when he was on kibble and would go to lick my face and all of a sudden let out a huge, stinky belch right in my face He doesn't belch now that he's on raw and he has great breath

nah. alphas should be able to take anything away from the dog, no matter its perceived "value": toy, treat, food, etc. the nature of the item should not matter. if a dog growls, it's a training issue not a food issue (UNLESS this is a rescue dog who has food possession issues to begin with, then no matter the food fed, leave that dog alone).

I don't know, but seeing all that, would probably turn me in to a vegetarian
Especially that head, whatever it was once attached to and the fishy looks sooo unhappy:sad: But I am sure it's very good for the dogs, must cost a fortune though, especilly with more than one dog,but if it keeps the dogs out of the vet-office I suppose it evens out.

funny thing is i hardly eat any meat at all
i can honestly say that it costs me the same (or a bit less) to feed raw than to feed a premium kibble & all the extras i used to put in it. BUT i do my homework, only buy things on sale, i scout the butchers, etc. otherwise it would get very expensive, very fast!

Yeah, if you can find the sources, its can very cheap. Hell I got a ton of free meat from hunters. Now that they know what i want, next year will be crazy!
As for the gross part, I just dont see it. imo, there are far worse things out there then giving a dog a fish or piece of meat. But thats just me. And no, it doesnt make them more aggressive. Why would it? I can take anything from my pup when I want it. Why? Because I taught him that I was fair. If he gives it to me, he gets something in return. A cookie maybe, a good dog and pat on the head, or it could be a toy he really wants.
