Tee hee hee. See how much we've evolved? We have a friendly debate all intertwined with a tom-ah-to discussion. Yey us!! By the way Melanie- if I become a gazillionaire, I might put you on my payroll as a "Yes Woman" to keep me thinking everything is all good as long as we're making money... (you all know I'm kidding right? How can I love animals without pondering the consequences? )

Back to the tom-eh-toes.

prin your amazing, truly. i just cant understand why yuou find it amazing, unbelievable or whatever that i pick up dog poo with my hands, it is of course dry, i do this with all animal poo except chicken as it never dries really

i truly swearto you i dont find anything wrong with it, i have friends that do it too, i have never thought of it as yucky, we wash our hands thoroughly after and were all a super hygenic bunch, although im the worst...

its jsut easy and simple and the way its been done through out the ages, at least im assuming before shovels anyway. i havedone it all my life, as kids we always through dry cow pats at each other, i just thought alot moreppl did this i suppose...

to me its only animal poo and qiute clean and pure, unlike human stuff...

its jsut easy when your pickin up lots of poo, like cow poo for fertalising gardens...

how bloody odd really

LOL Mel- I have never heard of anybody doing that before you. There are still bacteria in dog poop, too, you know. I guess if you don't live in the city, it's not so disgusting.

Over here we do other gross stuff. Like put cheese curds on our french fries.

Hey! I found a picture:

LMAO! Well, that'll teach me to come into a thread at the end. I open the thread titled "Tomato", go to the last post and find that the conversation is actually about dog poo and poutines.

My poor tomato plants, first there were 9, now there are two. I live in a town house and the very bad people who go around with those weed wackers, wacked my tomatoes. I now have to dig up the remaining little guys before they get wacked to.

I'm sorry about your tomatoes, Stacey! And it started off as such a positive story!

Uh.. but I have to comment about that stuff in the picture and the cheese curds. Cheese curds? I don't even know what cheese curds are.. but it sounds like something you throw out when something goes bad. And uh.. you put these on french fries? And did someone say it tastes good? I ... uh... EW.

If you have never had cheese curds, it is kind of like a cheese string that is more salty than reg cheese. Beef gravy. Oh so good

Curds are unripened cheese. I find them less bitter than normal cheese. If you buy the wrong kind, they squeak when you chew them and they don't melt... Otherwise, picture a stronger tasting mozarella with less after taste. I think that would be the closest way to describe it.

Heh heh, nah, those are a different kind. If you leave them in the fridge for a month, they'll still squeak.
