Vanectyl P for cats

I have a 7 yr. old Siamese Female Cat who was recently diagnosed with: -
heart is on the wrong side and the arteries leading to her heart are like threads, her lungs x-rayed almost black. Despite all this she is doing ok.
The vet has put her on antibotics and Vanectyl P which is suppose to open up the blood vessels and allow to breathe easier, however, she hates them and throws the pill up. Does anyone know of alternatives or a homeopathic remedy I could use for her. She just very stressed going to the vet and taking the Vanectyl that her breathing gets much worse.

I would definitely talk to the vet before making any changes. Does she throw it up right away or later? Have you tried pill pockets? They work for some.

Ditto Badger. One of my dogs is on Vanectyl for allergies and I never heard about a alternatives or a homeopathic remedy. Have you tried giving it in some salmon , sardines , any treat she likes ?
