Winnie-December 25, 1997-January 29, 2013
Our sweet Winnie passed away yesterday at 11:22am. This was farmost the most difficult decision I had to make. She was surrounded by those who loved her. Her last meal was none other than cat food...a food that she tried to steal from the cats for the last 15 years...She literaly passed away eating her food; her nose in the bowl....the way any Yellow Lab would love to go...food in her mouth....She arrived in heaven on a full tummy!!!
She will be missed!!!

Winnie was a very sweet looking dog, I am so sorry for the lost of your beloved dog. That was so sweet that she dies doing what a lab loves to do more than anything , eat.
in WinnieI really need to keep a box of tissues next my computer when I read this thread.

So sorry to hear Winnie is gone cpietra. Wow she had a great life though didn't she. I think that's so sweet that she passed eating cat food. All pups should be so lucky. I know that's how Halo would want to go.
Have fun with the amigo's Winnie.

Awe Cpietra my heart is with you! Its such a touch decision to have to make but the "ultimate kindness" that we can offer our pets.
Winnie will be running free with her Amigo's and free of pain. I hope she meets up with my boy and they romp around together. I wish you peace my friend.
