Hello, I'm new today, but i think i really like this site
I'm currently searching the web to see if i can find some answers to my pet (Gismo's) problem. I've had him to the vet but they don't seem to know what the problem really is. I noticed about three months ago that gismo started getting a really bad twitch in his lower back, and i don't really know if twitch is really the word to discribe it, it's more like a clinching. Anyway my vet said that it might be flies so i got flie treatment and gave him but still no change. So i brought him to the vet and had him checked out and he was very clean. So now i'm really stumped because it's really starting to bother him alot. Oh and i should add that when the clinching happens he licks both his hind legs and sometimes him belly and sometimes even his front paws. It really makes him adjatated. So if anyone can give me some idea of what they may think is causing this it would be so greatly appreciated by myself and especially Gismo.

If you are still worried then I would get a second opinion by another vet.

Since you live in Guelph, I would take him to the Small Animal Clinic at the University - unless of course that is where you take your kitty now. Great doctors and specialists there. And so conveniently close to you - I live in Toronto, so not so convenient I am sorry to say.
