Wow, this is a new forum since I left a year ago. Glad I came back to find this!

Does anyone have a recipe for pierogis?

(Or any Polish dish, for that matter.....*drool*)

perogies!!

My very favourite food! I found this one on the net and it sounds pretty basic. My mom has actually made the "lazy" version and it's very good! I personally use Velveeta cheese instead of cheddar or mozz., but it is more expensive. Oh boy, now I am craving them!! For recipe, go to:

I don't have any recipies but I love pierogis, we always buy the frozen kind never made them from scratch. and also i guess pierogis must be big in Pittsburgh PA because that is where i am from and that site you posted is from pittsburgh. ever since we moved we've had trouble finding the frozen pierogis, only place we found in TX that sells them is Kroger.

Lezzer, thank you! That recipe doesn't sound too intimidating- can't wait to try it!

And yes, I believe in customizing here and there (whether it's what kind of cheese, or filling in general).
