Butterscotch

Butterscotch is a very loving cat. He loves to cuddle and is quite talkative. But you need to know that he's a little needy due to his separation anxiety. He will follow you everywhere because he always wants to be the center of your attention.

We fear this little guy may never find a home due to the fact that no body wants to put the work into helping him get over his problems, if you have room in your heart and room in your home. then please consider this little guy.

Homes with dogs will be consider.

What a cutie! What do you by "separation anxiety"? Lots of cats follow their owners everywhere and many people like that. Does he have any behavior problems?

I'll be glad to post him on my site. How old is he?

We already have him posted on are site but if you have any tips on how to get him over his problems I'll listen. he's the type of kitten who will cry if you don't pick him up and waiting you to hold him the whole time no matter what your doing and if you don't, he'll do whatever it takes to make sure you do. he's 3months.

Well, I would adopt him to a home that already has another cat or kitten for him to play, groom and cuddle with. That may be all he needs. Little kittens do not like being alone.

In the meantime you can advertise him as a "Love Sponge". People love this type cat. We just adopted out the suckiest, loveydoviest (is that a word??) attention demanding cat in the world, and 18lbs to boot. Everyone wanted this cuddlebug who demanded constant attention and would NOT take "No" for an answer!

Easier to adopt out a love sponge than the type of cat who hides under the bed for a month and hisses at you!

The funny thing about him is he doesn't like to play with the other kittens and will cry if they bug him, he just wants to sit there in your arms all day long. it feels like I'm caring for a newborn, he's the type that gets stress if you don't pick him up.

Did he find a home?

I can't find him on the website. What happened? I may have the perfect home for him (pending your approval of course).

Lisa.

is he?

Part Abysinnian? He looks so much like my cat we had for 18 years who was a cinnamon colored abysinnian mix. If he is, that explains that talking and following you everywhere. I loved that about him. My mom would be in the kitchen working on supper and he'd be talking away to her and she'd be answering him back. Hope he finds a wonderful home!

Yep, if he is part Abysinnian, they are like Siamese- they NEED to be where their person is. That's not a problem - to many people (myself included), it is an endearing trait. My Siamese kitten has to be everywhere I am. It is not seperation anxity. They just need attention.

The only downside is that with Siamese at least if they are left alone for long periods, they can get into trouble - I suppose in much the same way most cats do but they are high energy and need that companionship.
