Brindle Boxer Skin Problem - Face

I have a brindle boxer male, Hoochie, and his skin underneath his eyes are pussy and swollen. He is 6 years old and wondering if there is something I need to do. My female boxers skin under the eyes look nothing like this

You are wondering if there is something you need to do? You need to get the dog to a vet. Pussy and swollen means infection.

Pus is always a sign of infection, woolfie, and eyes are too precious to risk. So your first step is to have your dog seen by a vet and get some antibiotics.

It's still something that should be looked at by a vet. Even if it turns out to just be allergies, at least you will have caught it early.

Does he seem itchier than normal at all?

It does sound like allergies. Glad pus is not an issue! Does he rub his face a lot? Has his food or the detergent you use on his bedding changed? If he isn't having issues on any other part of his body, it sounds like a reaction to moist wrinkles on his face, or a change in the chemistry of his own tears. Does need a vet--hope you have access to a good one.

I am trying to think if there is anything different that I have given Hooch, none that I can think of. Does anyone know what you can put on his skin around the eyes until I can get into the vet? Feel like I should put some lotion of some sort on it.

I wouldn't put anything on it, since you don't know what it is yet. Could make it worse. Are his eyes OK, not red or anything?
