Question Oh what do I do?????

Hubby and youngest daughter are gone for a couple days. College/University shopping while oldest daugher is house sitting. So it's just me and all the furbutts!

So far, we did our nightly walk and spent 3 hours creating personalized Christmas cards (while listening to Christmas music!)

I have 3 more days of unexpected silence and need some suggestions on how I can make the best of it. Any suggestions?

It hasn't been this quite for me, myself and I in 22 years so I'm kinda at a loss (but sorta of liking it so far)!

Read a book in the bubble bath, with candles (though you may squint while reading...), with wine, and dark chocolates. Follow up with a relaxing facial mask, toner and a great moisterizer. Then work on fingers and toes...little manicure, followed by a tiny bit of polish. Finally - rent a movie...like the English Patient with a plate of cheese and apples and again more wine...

Get drunk! Haha joking. I like the mani-pedi idea and the bubble bath. Order a pizza and eat the whole thing by yourself and watch your favourite movies.

You could pack up the furbabies and take a road trip. We always welcome new faces here, klm! (And then you wouldn't even have to cook for yourself!)

Hmmm, hard to say. Three days of peace - take the phone off the hook and curl up in the corner of the sofa with that really good book you've been wanting to read. Heaven!!

Wow! Great ideas people!

I'll take JennieV up on her suggestion -NO CLEANING!

Just went and picked up pizza from MY favorite pizza joint loaded with toppings that I like and eating while I type to you fine folks.

Cranking up the tunes really loud sounds like me but defininately NOT running around nekkid TQ!

After the tunes, I may just drag out my Steel Magnolias DVD tonight and watch it on the man TV with surround sound!

Still liking it.

O.K. I'm bored!

Watched Steel Magnolias and of course cried at the funeral part--again.

Hazel; I could fly by the seat of my pants and venture over to your house but I think I would only get half way there before the family returns. Could you imagine 10 dogs chasing 2 kitties???

14+; Picking up 2 rose bushes tomorrow so I got out my new gardening book and read some tips. Great home remedies in this book-love it.

Ally&Jakub; Does 6 beers, 2 shots of Crown Royal followed by Red Bull count as far as getting drunk? JUST KIDDING! Although I did splurge and had 2 beers with my pizza earlier.

SIL; Are your kids still available?

Laughing at this thread. What a tough spot to be in huh! I had six weeks of that this summer while hubby was away. Didn't get bored once! I did order one pizza, took four days to get through it though. Didn't get drunk either. God I'm boring! I gather all are back home now and life is back to "normal"

I finally have a day off today and now I'm wondering what to do with it lol. I think...laundry! Not so fun, but it's always funny trying to fold it with a kitty and a doggy trying to ruin it.

Kinda back to normal. Hubby was home long enough to do some laundry, packed and is gone on a business trip til Thursday. So it's just me and all my little chick-a-dees. Poor Gryphon, testosterone is out numbered and doesn't mean a thing right now!

Ally&Jakub; laundry on your day off? Gosh, sure hope Indica & Oliver gave you a hand and at least folded the socks.

Likely it would be at least 8 dogs chased by 2 kitties... Remember, the Pack runs from less well-armed mice!

Well now everything's back to normal. Hubby's home and Gryphon & Mollie are now on their best behaviour!

Hazel; Gryphon & Mollie could have given a quick Kitty Chasing lesson to the pack but I'm sure Bella would have given all the dogs a run for their money.
