Introducing Skeletor!!!

Yup, his name is Skeletor LOL Apparently a young boy named him after He-man's arch enemy, the evil lord of destruction! Thank goodness he doesn't take after his name! We just call him Skel lol He's Lokiboden lines. He's certainly a charmer! Needs a bit of confidence work done but after two days here he's already coming out of his shell. I was told he doesn't get along with males....but he gets along ok with OC lol Ronan doesn't think too much of him though. Luckily him and Ronan still run well next to each other though so things are still moving along as planned for this season!

Well hello there! I'm Skel!

He's a lanky boy, with lots of speed!

What was that??

At almost 3 years old he still has a puppy impish side in him. It didn't take him long to learn that freshly emptied cottage cheese containers are delicious and fun!

Tails vary per dog. OC's is as long but 3X the thickness. Ronan's is much shorter and has almost a bit of feathering going on. Kena's is as long as Skel's, thicker but not nearly as thick as OC's. Mochi's is curled like a Samoyed a lot of the time and very long fur (he's a wooly sibe though) and Tundra's is like OC's but thinner because she still has her puppy coat.

Congrats on the new addition. Looks like he's got nice long racing legs Guess we'll find out how well they work when we meet up with you at Marmora in about 3 weeks huh? I think you said you were going to be there too?

BenMax, I have 3 now

Angeldogs, I took some of the other 2 this AM should have it uploaded tonight or tomorrow

Chris, I think I'm maxed out for now haha plus with 3 boys my next one will for sure be a female (that's what I said before I got Skel too...). And yes I will be at Cannington.

Gail, no way am I going to Marmora after I read how they do starts! LOL Besides Kortright is the same weekend and that's closer anyways.

Oh yeah, I guess I forgot about Kortright because it's open only to purebreds I think?

I was a bit concerned about the start at Marmora too but a friend of mine has done it before who's little on the timid side when it comes to passing other teams etc. and I figured if she could handle it I can too. Then I read the updated info on the Marmora Snowfest site and it says it will be 2 minute interval starts, as normal so I'm relieved. It will be my first race with my 4-dog team, I don't need anything crazy happening.

What do you mean you're maxed out with 3, you're still a dog short for a full team You could be crazy like me, who just recently said "yes" to dog #8 when offered my latest pup Dru (another border collie, I don't think you've been on here for a little while so you might have missed the pics I posted)

Kortright is purebred Siberians only. It's a SHCC event. If Marmora is regular starts I may consider going if Kortright gets cancelled for some reason.

And it's not me myself that's maxed out at 3, it's my parents who don't want more than 2 permanent dogs LOL I can't wait to move out and get a full kennel going! I'll still be coming to races with a full dog box though. Mine holds 8 so it'll be my 3, my dog handler's 6 month old puppy (she's coming along to learn about traveling and she'll be racing next year), and Bailey's 3 plus my buddy's Sibe LOL

I was looking at the 4th pic you posted and Iggy our HuskyX has the exact same build as Skel, their hind legs remind me of Kangaroo legs Iggy can run like the wind and leaps like a deer. He is a beauty OC.
