Unhappy Kitty bleeding from anus

Dear Readers,
I know this is a gross subject but it is causing a lot of concern fo me. My kitty who is 3 years old has been deficating in the house and not in her litter box. Her feces is fine but there is always a little blood at the end of it. It is bright red and I am wondering if it is possible for kitties to have hemmroids
(not sure if that is how you spell it) Has anyone else had this problem?

Your cat needs medical attention NOW. Bright red blood is sign of an open wound. Since this is near, or from, the anus, it could lead to infection.

I will now close this thread. You can open a new one when you have news from the vet.
