Dog obsessive about eating poo

Does anybody have experience with dogs eating poo ? I have a fenced in yard with two dogs, one a Lab, the other a Sheepdog. They both do it! I don't always have time to clean it up right away, so as soon as I let my Lab out ( 11 months) she dashes to wherever she's seen the other one go ( she watches intently thru the patio door). Is this normal ?
