Go! Natural
Just wondering who out there feeds this and what your experience has been like with it? Are you pleased with it?
I am currently feeding the Chicken, Fruit and Vegetable and so far so good. I had my GD puppy on Eagle Pack Large/Giant Breed Puppy and at 4 months old I was feeding her 8+ cups per day just to look like she wasn't starving. This food did nothing for her other than give her an enourmous amount of poop resembling cow plops. While she was on it, I don't ever remember her having a solid poop. When I bought her the breeder had her on SG Beef & Barley Adult but I could not get her to eat it, which was why we changed. We've been on Go! Natural for about 4 weeks and her stool is about 1/4 of what it used to be and for the most part firm. She does get loose occassionally but it seems that this happens when she's really wound up and excited (like the first poop when we get home at night after a day at doggie daycare). The rest of the time its normal. |

we went through a couple of big bags for our boy and had to quit because his coat went brittle, dry and dull on it. I like the high caloric content and the ingredients (even if it is a little grainy), his poops were never that great on the food though, so it's a question of what works for your dog.

I feed it to my 2 cats, they love it. My big boy had a urinary infection and was on the prescription food, he gained alot of weight and his coat had gotten greasy and flaky, it's now starting to go back to normal and we hope that he'll start losing weight on the GO Natural. My girly's coat looks fantastic and they're both super energetic. We like it.

That's one thing I noticed as well that Autumn has alot more energy on this food and her coat is extremely shiny and soft. On the Eagle Pack her coat was terrible... she felt like an eyebrow.

lol never heard an eyebrow analogy before.
I find it a bit grainy, but if it works for your dog and she eats it, you're half way there! |

Now that they've removed the menadione sodium bisulfite from it, Go Natural is a good food. If Autumn likes it and is doing well on it, then it's a great food.
