First flowers..

Other than my tulips,the Magnolia,Forsythia and a whie flowering bush,these are the first flowers blooming in my perennial garden...the Lilac bush is just opening too

Oh Chico! The Bleeding Hearts are beautiful. My cousin just thinned her Bleeding Hearts and gave me 3 plants which I put in a basket shaped planter. They seem to be doing well. Now I can't wait for them to bloom. I've never had them before.

At first I thought the first picture was Clematis. Beautiful!

Glasslass,your Clematis is beautiful,I have 3 in different colours growing on my fence,but mine are of course not blooming yet..soon though.
Here's a pic of one,my largest from last year..

I have Clematis too. It doesn't seem to be doing anything right now.

AliSam,The Clematis needs to be cut down to about 1-2 feet early spring,but you probably already know that..yours should be showing new leafs and buds by now,depending on where you live.
